Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar

Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar

Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar recently opened their first Indiana location on Tuesday, April 4, and I’ve already been there twice! It’s no secret that southern food is my absolute favorite, and this spot does not disappoint.

I could tell within moments of walking in this was going to be one of my new favorite spots. Aside from the menu, the interior has been designed to perfection with a bright, organic modern design resulting in the ultimate ambience. Their menu features a unique twist on southern classics, and they are known for their famous fried chicken.

We tried out their brunch menu, starting out with appetizers like the Biscuits for a Cause, Fried Green Tomatoes and blueberry mimosas. We sampled a variety of their alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and every single one was delicious!

Brunch Entrees

We also sampled a variety of their brunch entrees, and there wasn’t a single one I wouldn’t easily order again-they were all so good! Entrees we tried:

Lemon Garden Party salad

Roast beef Debris Benedict

Bone-in Fried Chicken

Shrimp & Grits

Asheville Hot Fried Chicken with Mac-n-Cheese Waffles (my favorite one!)

Wine & Dessert

We ended the meal with some of their house wine, and of course dessert.

We ended up going back on Easter Sunday for brunch as well! I can’t wait to try our their dinner menu next. Tupelo is open now and you can view the full menu at and make reservations at: https://tupelohoneycafe.com/location/indianapolis/
