A boutique hotel, Casa Albertina is located just above the main beach with fantastic views of Positano’s iconic cliffside and the water! We enjoyed our stay here while in Positano, and I would absolutely stay here again. It checked off every box I had while searching for a hotel in Positano. 

The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff was very helpful with sharing their local recommendations. The rooms were spacious with most including a large private balcony to enjoy the stunning views. The location allows for easy access to the beach and town center, and is a quick walk to most spots. A delicious breakfast buffet was included each morning with a terrace view of Positano overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. They also have La Giara Rooftop Bar.

One of the most important decisions when choosing where to stay in Positano is whether you want to be in the heart of the town or more tucked away on the hillside. Staying close to the center means being near the beach, restaurants, and shops, but it also means dealing with crowds and sometimes noisy streets.

If you prefer a quieter, more secluded experience, opt for accommodations higher up the cliffs. The views are spectacular, but keep in mind that the town is steep and walking can be a bit of a workout! The upside? A tranquil retreat, away from the hustle and bustle.

Positano is an enchanting destination, and the accommodations you choose can truly shape your experience. Whether you’re looking for five-star luxury, a private villa, or an intimate Airbnb experience, Positano offers it all. I had an unforgettable time exploring the town and soaking in the beauty of the Amalfi Coast, and no matter where you choose to stay, I’m sure you will too.
