Skip the teddy bears and chocolate-covered strawberries this year and spoil your sweetie with this Strawberry Moscow Mule instead!
Our favorite kind of staying-in-date-night usually involves me making some sort of cocktail and renting a movie. We love trying different drinks, and a Moscow mule was one of the first cocktails I made for us when I got into at-home bartending. Mostly because they’re incredibly simple to make (no cocktail shaker or strainer needed!).
We’re been drinking mules for years, but I never thought to muddle some fruit for a little additional flavor! I don’t think we’ll ever be able to enjoy them the regular way again, because the muddled strawberries in this make it the perfect mix of refreshing and sweet. I used my favorite plain vodka (never thought I’d have one of those!) by Hard Truth Spirits. We always have a bottle of this stuff on hand, because a good plain vodka is a staple to any at-home bar!
