Fall Pumpkin Harvest at Dull’s Tree Farm

If there is one thing on my fall bucket list each season, it is visiting a pumpkin patch! Recently, I had the pleasure of attending Dull’s Tree Farm’s preview day, and let me tell you, it was the perfect way to get into the spirit of the fall season!

I have been to A LOT of pumpkin patches all over the Indianapolis and Central Indiana area over the years (you can check out my full Indy apple orchard and pumpkin patch guide here to see just how many) and Dull’s Tree Farm has impressed me so much with each and every visit!

Fall Pumpkin Harvest at Dull’s Tree Farm

Upon arriving at Dull’s Tree Farm, visitors are greeted by the most picturesque family farm! The atmosphere buzzes with excitement, as families, couples, and friends gather to enjoy the fall festivities. It truly feels like stepping into a postcard—a quintessential autumn scene with vibrant pumpkins, mums, and the sound of laughter.

Picking the Perfect Pumpkin

One of the highlights of a visit is exploring the pumpkin patch, which is a must-visit for anyone searching for the best fall activities near Indianapolis. The sheer variety of pumpkins—ranging from classic orange to quirky green and even striped—offers endless photo opportunities. I mean, just take a look at that pumpkin house! I was ready to move in.

Dull’s Tree Farm is known for its exceptional pumpkin picking, providing a delightful way to embrace the season. They also have a great selection of mums, corn and more to incorporate into your fall decor.

Good Eats and Seasonal Fall Treats

Let’s be honest, you can never have too many apple cider slushies during the fall season, and Dull’s Super Slushies with an apple cider donut on top are some of the best! The farm’s café beckons with seasonal treats. You can also pick up a pack of apple cider donuts to-go and order lunch or dinner to enjoy during your visit from the Feed Bunk including pulled pork nachos, pulled pork sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, and more. We got one of each and it was all delicious!

Fun for Everyone

While we don’t have kids of our own yet, it is always heartwarming to see families enjoying the various activities available! Dull’s Tree Farm offers plenty of family-friendly fall activities in the Indianapolis area such as the pumpkin patch, face painting, a pumpkin canon, pumpkin decorating, a petting zoo, interactive tractor cab, hayrides, Sports Shed, Ropes Range, big slides, corn maze, barrel train rides, tire mountain, farm animals, barnyard bouncer and more. It is a reminder that fall is about togetherness, whether you’re with family, friends, or enjoying a romantic day date.

Harvest Hayrides and Corn Maze

No visit would be complete without a hayride or corn maze—classic fall experiences. Visitors can hop onto a tractor-pulled wagon for a scenic journey through the farm, or navigate its twists and turns in the corn maze.

The Trading Post

The farm also has a great Trading Post shop showcasing an array of products from local vendors. We picked up some souvenirs and an Apple Cider Donut scented candle to enjoy at home. Definitely make sure you stop in here on your way out to pick something out. They even have a ton of the Christmas stuff out to look through as well!

Conclusion: A Must-Visit This Fall

The beauty of this place is that it truly captures the essence of fall. Whether you’re looking to pick the perfect pumpkin, navigate a corn maze, or simply enjoy some delicious seasonal treats, Dull’s Tree Farm is the place to be this autumn.

So, if you’re seeking a fun and festive way to celebrate the season—whether as a couple, with friends, or as a family—make sure to visit Dull’s Tree Farm. Embrace the beauty of fall and create some cherished memories along the way!
