The Aperol Spritz is a classic Italian aperitif, which is commonly enjoyed before a meal or as a happy hour beverage. It has become a very popular cocktail option among restaurants here over the last few summers, and I am all for it! I first tried these when visiting Italy a few years ago. We ordered them everywhere we went with snacks in between sight seeing. I’ve been making them at home ever since!
I recently received some Mionetto Prosecco to try out, so I figured this would be the perfect time for a recipe using it! I’ve seen it at Kroger, Meijer, and Target before for sure. As far as getting your hands on some Aperol, I have always been able to find it at Target and Kroger, and it is also carried at a variety of other liquor retailers in the area.
There are many different versions of the Aperol Spritz, and I’m sharing my favorite recipe with you below!
