8 Festive Fall Spots to Visit Around Indy

Anyone who knows me is well aware that autumn is my absolute FAVORITE time of the year. Pumpkin spice, caramel apples, sweaters, boots and best of all Halloween. Every year I go all out with my Halloween costumes. Yes, that was plural. Costumes with an “s.”
Another fall tradition I love is checking out the local pumpkin patches and apple orchards. We always make it a priority to visit at least one every year. Indy is so lucky to have so many farms and orchards in the area, and I’ve made a list of some of my favorites that you should definitely check out before October ends!

1. Tuttle Orchards – Greenfield, IN.

Tuttle Orchards is probably one of my favorites in the area, and it’s also where all of the photos in this post were taken by Rachel Giese Creative. It is the perfect place to go if apple picking is your goal. There are rows and rows of every different type of apple you could think of.
Tuttle Orchards also has a farm store, cafe, apple picking, corn maze and an assortment of pumpkins. For those with kids, they have an entire playground called “Tractor Town”. You can find more info including fall dates/hours here: https://www.indianapolisorchard.com/fall-overview/

2. Stonycreek Farm – Noblesville, IN.

We usually make time to visit Stonycreek each year with family. They are currently celebrating their 46th Annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival. In my opinion they always have some of the best pumpkins to pick from, and there are so many different activities going on so it’s perfect for everyone visiting. They have everything from apple cider slushies, a hayride to the pumpkin patch, pony rides, bounce zone for the kids and more. You can find out more including fall dates/times here: http://www.stonycreekfarm.net/

3. Piney Acres Farm – Fortville, IN.

Piney Acres is definitely the place to go if you’re in the mood to do a corn maze. They have an 8 acre one along with hay rides, and pumpkin picking. For more information including fall dates/times, visit: https://pineyacresfarm.com/
